Funda Şenova Tunalı received her BFA, MFA, and Ph.D. degrees in Graphic Design at Bilkent University, Ankara, and a European Media MA degree in Image Synthesis and Computer Animation at the Faculty of Art, Media and Technology, Utrecht School of the Arts, Hilversum, NL. She is working on digital typography, user interface design, and design thinking.
Funda Şenova Tunalı is a lecturer at the Department of Communication and Design, Bilkent University, Ankara, TR. She teaches Visual Communication Design, Principles of Visual Communication Design, Graduate Studio, and Introduction to Art and Culture courses.
She is one of the core members of NOMAD, which was founded in 2002. NOMAD produces and experiments new patterns in the digital art sphere by using various lenses of other disciplines. Funda Şenova Tunalı is one of the founding members of the New Media Open Lab, which is a space for creating concepts and developing projects on new media storytelling.
